Creative Business Talks is the collaboration of Jo Olive and Ellie Beck.

The Creative Business Talks aims to offer inspiring, practical and informative workshops and gatherings for Creatives in small business. Located in the Northern NSW town of Murwillumbah, this region is home to a vibrant and diverse creative community. It is our hope that the monthly CBT sessions will offer the community a forum to to share and teach each other valuable and practical skills necessary to run a successful creative business.

Our talks feature creative business owners, who run their small business with success, and share their skills and experience with you. The sessions are small and hands-on, with lots of questions being answered and real practical knowledge shared.

Our aim is to find people who have something to give, to help you improve, increase or expand your creative practice and business.

Ellie and Jo met through our Hey Maker! collaboration last year, and ran successful creative business talks during the pop up event we held in Murwillumbah. These sessions are a continuation of those talks, with more guest speakers and many more themes. 

We hope to inspire you to take your own creative business to a new place, to follow the dreams you have of working for yourself and doing what you love everyday. Many people in our region live like this!
